Visual Wonder || Vibrancy:

“If a piece is to be truly brought to life, and therefore made vibrant, ~ it must contain the fingerprints from all of aspects of being; the intellectual, the emotional, and the spiritual.”

~ Matt Zedler ~

Insights into my Creative Growth:

Coming from a family tree that was well and widely branched, I was afforded wonderful examples of multiple art disciplines. In my youth, I had complete access to all the arts; The Visual, The Literary, and The Musical Arts. These wonderful experiences of my youth gave me all of the reasons needed to pursue my own art career.

Always the curious child, I naturally tapped my mind and spirit into all of these forms. In retrospect, I feel well beyond fortunate to have grown up among this infinite supply of immensely gifted people. This gift from others that inspired me is (without question) what opened my eyes fully to the beauty and meaning of “the arts.” Equally it gave me special insights into both an art appreciator and professional artist’s mind. The perspective on life and living is so very different from their views, than that of the “masses.”

Since those years so long ago (that seem like yesterday), I have set aside a good deal of time to reflect on those moments and all of the special lessons they held within. Always ruminating, my mind rarely ceases on trying to decipher that magical formula on “delivering the purest and most valuable single lifetime” ~ to myself.

It has become quite obvious to me that some of the purest, richest, and most rarefied feelings of being alive have come to me while working on my art. During these periods of creation, I am able to connect directly with the essence of my own singular life energy. These are truly some of the most amazing and beautiful moments we’ll own.

As we evolve in this lifetime, we become better able to navigate our minds, bodies, and souls towards our own personal version of complete fulfillment.

Those moments in life then, when we are afforded glimpses of our true purpose here –

There will surely be no greater feelings than those.

Final Reflections on Sculpture:

As a young artist, my work was all hands-on with the vast majority of my art being mixed material 3D sculpture. My work then consisted of a array of media including; wood, clay, copper, iron, and various metal fabrications. In the more past, I am moreover appreciated as a 2D || 3D painter. I certainly do recall the enjoyment the building those sculptures, and will one day start producing them again ~

Carpe Diem ~
