Created through the lens of abstraction, chosen life forms are refracted through an artist’s eyes and then put down onto canvas. In my bio-abstract works, both in series and individual, I have chosen abstracting life forms from both the micro and macro living worlds. Many of my bio-works are framed within linear-geometric boundaries.
The series “See Life” (shown in part below), is a very unique concept and creation in the world of bio-abstraction art. Each painting contains a select grouping of micro to macro life forms (i.e. atomic level, DNA, flora & fauna, extra terrestrial..). All of the selected life forms are then altered to either a surreal or abstract state. Notice as well that each piece is then set in its very own geometric formula.
All of the “See Life” paintings are conceived and calculated, then designed, and then built, – life form by life form.
